What Is a Residence?
A residence is used to lock an area so that other players cannot interact with it. Each non-subscribed player can have a maximum of one residence with a size of up to 16,777,216 blocks (for example, an area of 256x256x256 blocks).
Quick Residence
/reska or /res auto
This command automatically creates a 60x60x60 block residence around the player, and its boundaries are shown using flame particles.
/res
This command allows players to easily create and manage residences.
Detailed Guide
-
Right-clicking a block with leather in hand will display the name of the residence in which the block is located in the chat.
-
Entering the command //wand gives the player an axe used for marking a residence.
-
Left-clicking a block with the axe sets the first corner of the residence, and right-clicking sets the second corner. (Corners refer to points in 3D space; you are marking a cube or cuboid.) The marked area remains for 3 minutes, after which the marking disappears.
-
To create a residence in the marked area, use the command /rg claim <residence_name>.
-
A residence can be deleted by its owner using the command /rg remove <residence_name>.
-
To display a list of owned residences, use the command /rg list.
-
To add another player to the residence, use the command /rg addmember <residence_name> <player_name>.
-
To remove a player from the residence, use the command /rg removemember <residence_name> <player_name>.
